a5c7b9f00b In a retelling of the story of the Fantastic Four, begins when genius Reed Richards builds what he thinks is a teleportation device which he unveils at a science fair. And when it doesn't produce the results he said would happen, he's shun by everyone. But a visiting scientist, Franklin Storm thinks that Reed built the means to cross into another dimension. He offers Reed a scholarship so he goes to New York to work on it and he works with Storm's daughter Sue and his former student Victor Von Doom. Storm also brings in his son Johnny, a mechanic to help him. When Reed says it's done, Storm decides to send him, Sue, Johnny and Victor. Reed asks his best friend Ben Grimm to join him. When they get there, they're exposed to elements not native to their own, And when they return, they start to change or gain abilities.
Four young outsiders teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe which alters their physical form in shocking ways. The four must learn to harness their new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy.
It amuses me how people have made reviews on here for Fan4stic saying they want to be honest with their rating, but lied just boost the rating for it. So here goes, a review to keep this awful awful awful movie down in the dumps where it belongs.<br/><br/>Fan4stic (this title cracks me up, I can't take any of it serious) starts off dark, and ends dark. It starts off a mess and ends even messier. We have the typical "origin" story where two of the friends are in grade school and create a science project type experiment pretty much for kicks. They make a teleporting device out of spare game and car parts. Yes, that is true. Skip some years, Ben Grimm is forgotten, people do stupid crap that has little to do with the story. I find myself bored with writing this review, justI was bored with the movie. Seriously, it is a true abomination of a movie and really deserves a lower rating than what it already has. Just being honest here… And to all the people who defend it, stop. Please.
This movie is just horrendous. The film manages to make every genre cliché in the world. If there's one redeeming factor it's that the actors tried with what they had but I'm gonna delve in to why that's complete and utter rubbish. <br/><br/>The actors do legitimately try but their performances are actually cut and I mean cut to the point of actually seeing and hearing them finish a sentence yet it gets cut and something else happens. The film is poorly edited poorly written and just plain ugly. <br/><br/>Ugly yes ugly the cgi was just horrible The Thing looked awful. The Alternate universe (whatever it is) they visit looks awful. The directing is nothing special either. <br/><br/>You can tell that this director had no control with this project. The film was just all the over the place. Scenes clearly pivotal scenes were cut. The film just doesn't flow cohesively. <br/><br/>Stuff happens with just no set up at all. Stuff happens out of the blue and I just sat there like "was something removed from this scene". The answer is yes <br/><br/>Doom is horrible he looks horrible he's horrible written he's shoes horned into the ending literally just so they can have an ending. <br/><br/>The whole film fails and it's sad cause I had hope but now I don't. The film fails on every level. The acting was eh the editing and direction was the worst thing about this mess. <br/><br/>2/10
